About the illustrations: 
The author, Jessie Strock, asked me to illustrate her book! I am so grateful and honored that she chose me to work on this project. Through the winter of 2018 and the spring of 2019, I painted each illustration—all together, I created 36 paintings for this story! This is the first time my illustrations have been published in a children's book! You can find these animals in the book: tucan, frog, monkey, zebra, bear, alligator, elephant, lion, tiger, and giraffe.
